The Arrival
Let me warn you beforehand that the pictures in this post were taken with my camera phone, because my regular camera refused to work. Yes, another electronic device that refused to work. Restrain me before I kill myself.
Our new, awesome sofa arrived two days ago, about two weeks later than agreed and slightly damaged during its journey from somewhere in Scandinavia to our house. Someone is coming to assess the damage next week, and lord knows how long it will take to fix it.

The sofa itself is just… heaven. The corner is big enough for the two of us to lie in comfortably and watch TV. Rob refuses to move the TV because the angle is slightly awkward, so I don’t think I’ll actually be in the corner much, except when I’m not watching TV, but still. I absolutely love this sofa to bits.
As for the debate about the sofa being too big for our living room… it’s actually smaller than we thought it would be. The distance from the left side of it to the window is greater than we thought, so we had to move everything around just to have something there instead of a big gaping nothing.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go lie in the sofa corner and do some homework.
